The Dogpile
In this episode, I take you on a tour through some of the biggest current events in global politics, starting with the recent stolen election in Venezuela and the unusually dangerous and chaotic situation in the usually chaotic and dangerous nation of Haiti, with a focus on what the US should do or not. From there, we dive into the Israel-Gaza conflict and also Iran’s role in it, before wrapping up with the latest in Sudan’s ongoing power struggle. Along the way, I explore how the U.S. often stumbles in its foreign policy by making unfounded assumptions about what leaders around the world really want which is often different from what they actually want, and how this mistake we make often gets us into trouble. Listen, and enjoy!
